Scouting for Food

Hi Neighbor! It's that time of year again and Cub Scout Pack 922 & Troop 41 are participating in the annual Scouting for Food Drive to benefit the Town of Orange Food Bank and the New Haven Food Pantry. Simply share your address and our Scouts can stop by to pick up your food donation. Thank you for helping local families in our community.

How It Works

Fill out the form with your address and any helpful pickup notes or requests.

Fill a bag with non-perishable food and leave it on your front doorstep or mailbox by 8:00 AM on Saturday, June 6, 2026. A Scout will collect it and deliver it to the Town of Orange Food Bank or the New Haven Food Pantry.

Once the pickup is finished and marked complete, your address is deleted from our list unless you opt-in for future donation opportunities.

What to Donate

Suggested items that are always needed:

Peanut Butter, Jelly, Rice, Mustard, Ketchup, Coffee, Tea, Juices, Canned Meats, Salt, Pepper, Sugar, Flour, Supermarket Gift Cards, Pasta, Oatmeal, Cereals, Soups, Toothpaste, Soap, Shampoo, Deodorant, Body Wash, Napkins, Paper Towels, Toilet Paper, Cups, and Plates, Dish Detergent, and Laundry Detergent.

To protect your privacy, we ask only for the pickup address, your email for notifications and edits, any optional notes, and an optional future contact preference.

Your address is only used for this food pickup.

When you submit your address and email to Pack 922 & Troop 41, we use them only to organize your Scouting for Food pickup, send notifications, and help you edit your registration if needed.

Once a scout finishes the pickup and marks it complete, we delete your address, email, and notes from our records unless you specifically opt-in for future donation opportunities.

If you opt in, we keep your contact information on a separate future-opportunities list that you can unsubscribe from at any time with one click from any of those emails.
